(y/n) didn’t know it, but a pair of lilac eyes had been watching him throughout his first weeks of attending Beacon. She watched as he ate his meals, during class, and while he sparred with his teammates. Yang just couldn’t help but to be enamored with him, it was understandable for a girl her age to be attracted to (y/n), who really was easy on the eyes. But there was one thing she saw as a flaw, and that was (y/n)’s uptight personality. He never really interacted with anyone except with his teammates, and even that was scarce. She had tried to get a “hello” out of him, all he did was respond with a grunt and keep moving on.

It was on a weekend when she finally managed to stop him and get him to speak with her . . . . . . . by grabbing onto his tail when he tried to walk away after giving his brief response to her greeting. He let out a pained yelp.

“Oi!!!”

“Hellloooo!!” she greeted cheerfully again.

“You already said that! Now let go of my tail!!”

“Yay! I finally got a sentence out of you!”

“Woo-hoo,” he said grumbling, “now let go!!”

“Not until you answer a question of mine!”

“Fine! What!?”

“How come you’re such a lone wolf?”

“What kind of question is that!?

“I’m waiting~”

“I don’t know! I just prefer to be alone.”

“Oh really? Come on, that can’t be the reason, no one likes to be alone.”
“Well I guess I am ‘no one’,” he said, using all of his willpower to keep from lashing out at the blonde chick that still had his tail in a death grip.

“Hey, wanna know what you need?”

“For you to let go of my tail!?”

“Noooooo, some fun!” she let go of him, but that was replaced with her grabbing his wrist.

“Wait! Wha-” he couldn’t even finish his sentence, as Yang had already dragged him across the courtyard to a section in front of the school where vehicles were stored. She walked over to a rather sharp looking, yellow motorcycle. Even (y/n) couldn’t help but to be impressed by how spiffy and awesome looking it was.

“Hop on!” Yang ordered.

“EH!? I’m not going anywhere with you!”

(y/n) tried to head back to the school, but once again, Yang gripped his tail.

“OUCH!!”

“Do it! Or the tail goes!”

“Are you serious!?”

“Dead serious!”

“If I go, will you please stop that!?”

“That’s the plan, yes.”

“Fine! I’ll go!”

“Yes!”

Tossing him a helmet, Yang mounted her bike, starting it up as (y/n) reluctantly sat down behind her.

“Hang on!” she said. (y/n) looked at her thin waist, her shirt showing a bit of her belly.

“There’s no way I’m-” Yang revved up her bike, speeding into the streets of Vale. (y/n) almost yelped up from the sudden departure, but instinctively wrapped his arms around her waist, being mindful of where he put his hands. He didn’t want to admit it, but it was really thrilling going down streets fast on a motorcycle, sure Yang cut tightly through corners, easily went over the speed limit, and almost made him fall off, but it was rather fun to be on the wild side for a while.

After about twenty minutes, they stopped in front of a building where (y/n) could hear loud music booming from.

“Uhhh, Yang, where are we?” he asked, taking off his helmet.

“Just come on!” Yang urged, grabbing again at his wrist, “you ask too many questions. Loosen up! Have fun! Enjoy the moment!”

Yang proceeded to drag him into what looked like to be a club. At this, (y/n) began to dig his heels into the ground, an attempt to stop her.

“Oi oi oi!! That’s a club genius! We can’t go in there! We’re underaged in case you haven’t noticed!”

“Don’t worry, the owner knows me, he’ll let us in.”

(y/n) really wanted to protest further, but by now, he’s come to realize that rational thinking isn’t this girl’s best interest. After having scared a few bodyguards shitless, they both walked up to the counter and took a seat.

“Two strawberry sunrises, no ice, and with those cute umbrellas,” she ordered.

(y/n) had to roll his eyes. While they waited for their drinks, Yang did what she could to start up a conversation.

“So (y/n), where are you from?”

“. . . . no where really.”

“Awwww come on, surely you’ve been born somewhere that you can call home.”

“I don’t remember anything about where I came from.”

“O-k . . . . . I lived in Signal.”

“Hm.”

“. . . . . . soooooo what are your parents like?”

“Don’t know.”

“Eh? How do you not know?”

“I just don’t.”

Their drinks finally came once it got really awkward. (y/n) eyes the glass holding the pink beverage curiously, he sniffed it, the sweetness easily overpowered the alcohol content. He removed the little umbrella and cautiously took a sip. The sweet and tartness of the strawberry flavored drink overtook his tongue before the bitter bite of alcohol appeared in the aftertaste, however, it wasn’t too strong for him to handle.

“Wow,” he said, looking at his drink, “this is actually pretty good.”

“I know right!”

With a few more gulps, the drink was gone from both their glasses.

“Ah~” (y/n) exhaled, letting out a little hiccup, to which Yang giggled at.

“Yo Junior! Another two strawberry sunrises please!”

The bartender, also the owner, grumbled, but he knew better then to deny Yang her wishes (his manhood can say the same), and did as he was told. One after another the two students drank and drank to the point where (y/n) was beginning to get a little tipsy. Yang, having more alcohol resistance then him, couldn’t help but to giggle at how laid back and silly he looked with his cheeks flushes and lips stretched into a goofy smile. When he began to lean against her, mumbling incoherent nonsense, she knew that he had enough.

“Well, looks like we need to get going.”

“Oi, blondie, who’s gonna pay for all these then!?” Junior asked, motioning to all the empty glasses on the bar counter.

“Aw, just put it on my tab.”

“You don’t have a tab.”

“But you can make me one, or maybe you’d like to loose your left nut?”

“Very well then,” he quickly said, remembering what happened the last time he upset her.

Yang began to lift (y/n) up form his chair.

“Come on (y/n), I think you’ve had enough.”

“Naaaawwww, I can go for a few *hic* more rounds.”

“Yeah yeah, keep telling yourself that.”

Getting (y/n) out of his seat was quite the challenge, getting him to walk was an obstacle in itself. They only two a few steps before (y/n)’s drunken state make his legs weak, and he fell right on top of Yang who let out a tiny shriek.

“Ugh! (y/n)!?”

He propped himself on his hands and knees in a rather suggestive position over Yang. His slightly glazed eyes looked deep into hers.

“Yang~ Damn you’re so beautiful and sexy~.”

Her pale cheeks turned red at this statement.

“U-u-um, thanks? I guess . . . . . .”

His eyes trailed down to her plump, pink lips.

'They look so . . . . . . kissable.'

Closing his eyes, he pressed his lips agains hers, reveling in the soft and plumpness of them. All activity in the club ceased, even the music. The workers stared with fright, wondering what she would do to the poor, drunk boy. The blush was growing on Yang’s cheeks as her eyes grew wide, sure the guy was drunk, but damn he could kiss, especially when he slipped his tongue past her unsuspecting lips, exploring the wet cavern that was her mouth. He would’ve gone on and on with the make-out session if the lack of oxygen didn’t force him to pull away, panting hard. Yang honestly had no words, this sexy wolf had just taken her first kiss, and she didn’t feel like she minded. Before she could even think about her next move, (y/n) suddenly collapsed on top of her, the effect of alcohol fully taking its’ effect. She grabbed him and hoisted him back up.

Looking back at everyone else, she said, “Later everyone! Till next time!” and walked out, dragging the now out cold (y/n). It was tricky getting back to school with him out like that, but she managed by putting him in the front and using one hand to keep him on her motorcycle. Being extra sneaky and making sure no one sees them, she took him to his dorm, where his teammates were shocked over his condition. Yang explained that this was all her fault and they promised to keep this among themselves.

Next morning . . . .

(y/n) woke up to a pounding headache. Felt like someone was clanging cymbals right on his head and wouldn’t let up. He trudged into the cafeteria for breakfast, trying to walk straight despite his dizzy vision. As he sat down to eat his food, Yang suddenly came up to him with a glass of some kind of bubbly water in her hand.

“Morning!” she said cheerfully. (y/n) only grunted in response, then saw her
place the glass on his tray.

“Here, drink this, it’ll make you feel better in no time.”

“H-huh?”

“Just drink it!” her little shout was more then enough to send a ringing in his ears. Grumbling, he took it and gulped down the weird tasting liquid. In an instant, he felt about eighty percent better.

“Oh!”

“Heh heh, told ya~”

“Yeah . . . . . thanks . . . I guess.”

“Glad I could be of help! By the way, do you remember anything from last night?”

“Uhhhh . . . . Just up to my fifth drink, then I guess I passed out cause the next thing I remember is waking up in my bed.”

He had kissed Yang after his seventh drink, so Yang concluded he was beyond gone when he kissed her.

“Why? Did I do something weird?”

“Oh~ Not really~” Yang almost sang out.

“Eh?”

“See you around.”

She left him to join her teammates.

“Geez, what’s up with her?” he asked himself, biting into his toast and then almost gagging when he tasted peanut butter and tomatoes together, a result from trying to get breakfast with his vision a bit blurry.

A few days later . . . . .

Yang and her team was just chilling in the library, but instead of reading books and studying, they were once again playing with hers and Ruby’s favorite board game, much to the annoyance of the other students around them who were actually trying to get some studying in.

“You’re going down Yang!” Ruby proclaimed as she rolled her dice, then gawked when he saw that she rolled a two, not doing anything for her.

“Heh heh, that’s what happened when you get too cocky sis,” Yang commented, picking the dice up and rolling them between her hands. Ruby then prayed to any deity for Yang to also share the fate she just had, allowing her another chance when her turn came again. As Yang watched the dice that’ll seal her fate on this game, she looked up form them and noticed someone seated at the table across from them. Even though his face was hidden behind a book, there was no mistaken those fuzzy wolf ears poking out above it.

“(y/n)!” she called out quite loudly. She saw his ears twitch and him lowering the book slightly to see who had called out to him. He saw Yang, smiling brightly and waving at him. Not wanting to be rude, he merely gave her a little wave back before returning to his book.

“You know him Yang?” Weiss asked.

“Kinda, we did go out some nights ago to a club, even though we didn’t speak much, I was still able to learn a thing about him.”

“Hmm.”

After Yang claimed victory to the game after about half a hour later, the team packed up and began to leave. She looked back at (y/n) to give him a farewell wave, but then noticed team CRDL ganging up on him.

“Yo, freak! You’ve got some nerve coming here to this school,” Cardin, the leader, sneered, “This place isn’t meant for murderers like you, White Fang scum.”
(y/n) didn’t even heed their presence, just kept right on reading like they weren’t even there. Not liking the tough guy act, Cardin snatched the book out of (y/n)’s hands.

“Oi! Are you even listening wolfy!?

(y/n) slowly looked up to him with a blank look, “May I please have my book back?” he asked in a bored tone.

“Oh? You want it back? Here then!” Cardin lifted the book above (y/n)’s head and let it fall, a corner of it landing hard on (y/n)’s soft ear and he couldn’t help but to let out a pained yelp when the hard corner made contact with his sensitive ear. Cardin and his team just laughed at the sight of (y/n) in pain. (y/n) sighed out deeply, trying his best to suppress his growing anger, he calmly got up form his chair and turned to leave.

“Leaving already? Your parents must’ve been real losers to raise someone like you, unless they were in the White Fang too, guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree after all.”

With that simple sentence, (y/n) snapped. With one swift movement, he turned around and grabbed Cardin by the throat, earning the attention of all the students that were around.

“Listen here you punk!” he growled out, “You can say whatever you want about me, but never diss my parents like that! If you so as much think a bad thought about them, then I’ll show you how murderous I can be!” with that, he shoved Cardin backwards roughly, making him hit a bookshelf.

“Why you-!?”

“What is going on here!?” a new voice asked. It was Ms.Goodwitch. (y/n) was able to see one of Cardin’s teammates behind her, smirking darkly at him and concluded that he had left early to find a teacher in order to get him in trouble. Cardin quickly got with the program and fell to his knees, coughing loudly.

“Mr.Winchester!?”

“He *cough* tried to strangle *cough* me,” he forced out.
“What!” Yang exclaimed, quickly walking over to the scene and standing next to (y/n) for support, “He did not! Sure he grabbed you by the throat, but I didn’t see any pressure being given! Plus, you’re the one who provoked him!”

“Enough!” Ms.Goodwitch shouted, “Mr.Winchester, please show us your neck!” she ordered, seeing that Cardin was hiding it with his hand. Hesitantly, Cardin removed his hand, showing no bruising whatsoever, thus excusing his claim that (y/n) choked him.

“Well well Mr.Winchester, this is so very interesting. I’ll have you know that lying like that will not be tolerated, you and Mr.(l/n) will be coming with me.”

“Huh!? Why (y/n) too!? Cardin is the one who started it!”

“While that may be true, retaliating the way he did was no way to handle the situation. Now then, you two follow me.”

“But-!” Yang was stopped when she felt (y/n) place a hand on her shoulder, “Huh?”

“Enough Yang, thanks anyway,” he said, looking seriously into her eyes. She could only nod as she watched the two boys walk away with Ms.Goodwitch.

That night . . . . .

(y/n)’s head was still pounding from that huge lecture Ms.Goodwitch have given him and Cardin, keeping him from being able to get to sleep, so he leaped out of his room window to a tree and climbed up to the roof. There, he sat on the ledge and looked up to the starry filled sky. Letting out a sigh, he took out a photo from his pants pocket. In it were a young couple, both had wolf ears and a tail.

“Mom . . . . . dad . . . . . .”

“So that’s your parents?”

“Gyaah!!” (y/n) almost dropped his photo, but was able to keep a good grip on it as he turns her head to see Yang, in her pajamas, leaning down close to him to get a look at the picture. She straightened herself out though when she realized that she had startled him.

“Oh! Sorry, did I scare you?”

“Surprised is the more appropriate term here.”

Yang giggled as she seated herself next to him, “ Couldn’t sleep?” she asked.

“No, Ms.Goodwitch’s lecture is still ringing in my head.”

“What happened after she took you guys?”

“Just scolded us about not acting like proper huntsmen, made us say sorry to each other, and just told us that there would me more severe consequences if it happened again.”

“Yikes, sounds harsh. . . . . . . . Hey, can I ask you something?”

“Hm?”

“Were you really in the White Fang? And before you answer that, just know I wont judge you whether you say no or yes, I guess you can say I have a friend that used to be in it, but she’s great now.”

“. . . . . . . Yeah.”

“So then, did you really . . . . . you know . . . . do away with people?” Yang was careful not to say “murder.”

“. . . . . . A few, but it doesn’t matter even if it was a few, the blood of innocents is still on my hands. It was all thanks to what happened all those years ago that I was able to carry out those acts without a second thought.”

“What happened?”

(y/n) didn’t speak for a long while, then finally started to tell his tale, “Some humans found one of our old hideouts, they began attacking everyone in sight, whether they were women or children, it didn’t matter to them. My parents were rushing to get me out of there, but a bomb exploded and we were trapped, so they forced open an opening just big enough for me to crawl through and ordered me to run. I wanted to stay and see if I could help them, but I knew I wasn’t strong enough to do it, so I ran away with everyone else that managed to make it out. As I ran, I looked back to see the place burn to the ground, along with my parents. Ever since then, I’ve always hated the humans for what they did to my parents, but after a while, I came to realize that we were just as bad as the humans, and after my mentor killed my best friend and tried to kill me, I made up my mind and ran from them too. I’ve been a wanderer ever since, that was until Ozpin accepted me to this academy.”

“Oh,” Yang said when he had finished talking, “I had no idea. I’m sorry that happened to you (y/n).”

“It doesn’t matter anymore, what happened happened, end of story.”

“Still, you shouldn’t give up like that.”

“Huh?”

“Your parents could still be alive, from what you told me, they were just trapped in a hideout right? Maybe they made it out somewhere else and are alive and well.”

“How the heck did you event think up of that possibility? Didn’t you hear me? That place collapsed in a heap of flames, there’s no way that they made it out alive even if they tried.”

“But still, some time passed before it happened, so you never know!”

“Why are you so persistent on that idea?”

“Cause I know what it’s like to loose someone. Well, not loose someone exactly, but to have someone just disappear on you.”

“Huh?”

“My mom, when I was just a kid, she just disappeared without any notice. Sure, there may be the possibility of her being dead by now, but I’m not giving up until I’ve learned that truth, and you can’t give up either!”

“Geez, you sure are one, hotheaded girl.”

“Heh heh, and proud of it!”

“That wasn’t a compliment.”

“It is to me!”

(y/n) shook his head, “Honestly, you’re too naive for your own good,” then he gave her a rather attractive grin, “But, I guess that’s one of your perks.”

Yang could only stare as this handsome wolf smiled at her, hoping that even with his night vision, he wouldn’t be able to see her growing blush on her face.

“U-uh, thanks, I guess.”

~0~

It was just an average day in Vale, Yang was in town by herself since the rest of her team decided to actually study for a test that was coming up. She felt ready for it and decided to go for a nice walk around the town. She was just minding her own business until she heard a ruckus happening around a corner. Curiosity getting the better of her, she rounded the corner and was there in time to see (y/n) getting shoved out of a bakery by the owner. He was thrown to the ground mercilessly, and anyone who was around didn’t pay any mind to him.

“Get out of here you Faunus trash!” the owner ordered, “If I catch you even so as much passing by here, I’ll turn your tail into a scarf!” with a huff, he turned and returned to his bakery. (y/n) said nothing as he stumbled to his feet, dusting himself off.

“(y/n)!” Yang said, running up to him.

“Hm?” he looked in her direction, “Yang?”

“Hey! What the heck happened there?”

“Oh, I was just trying to get something from there, but seems like the owner doesn’t take too kindly to Faunuses."

“Wh-what!? Let me have a talk with-” before Yang could finish her sentence, (y/n) gently grabbed her shoulder.

“Forget it, it’s not worth it.”

“What do you mean by that!? You are worth it!”

(y/n) just stared at her, taking in what she had just said. He deeply sighed, “Look, it’s nothing, really. I’m used to it anyway. See you around,” he walked away. Yang wanted to follow after him, but what could she say? If she tried to claim that she’ll talk with the bakery owner, he’ll just blow her off again and again until she gives up. Sighing deeply, she turned the other way and walked.

'This just isn’t fair! He never did anything to deserve this kind of treatment! He’s kindhearted, cool, friendly once you really get to know him. Not to mention easy on the eyes- Whoa whoa Yang, easy there, let’s not get off topic!'

She was so absorbed in her thoughts, Yang didn’t notice the two, shady figures in the alley up ahead until they grabbed her, dragging her deeper in. Yang opened her mouth to scream out and got ready for a fight, but in an instant, a cloth was pressed against her face, muffling her cry for help and its’ scent made her body go limp, knocking her right out. With their prey now under control, Yang’s captors prepared to leave with her, until someone yelled out, “Hey! What do you think you’re doing!?”

The two masked figures looked up, and upon seeing that it was (y/n) that stopped them, they flinched greatly. But the larger figure, clearly a male, lunged forward, pinning (y/n) to the wall by pressing the same cloth against his mouth and nose. (y/n) struggled quickly and was able to shake the guy off, but it was too late as he had inhaled some of the cloth’s contents, his body wobbled a bit, his head becoming dizzy. He was just about to collapse to the floor when someone caught him in their arms. Before fully blacking out, he heard a woman’s voice say, “Oh my dear boy, we’ll finally be a family again!” then everything went black.

~0~

(y/n) woke to the feeling of something damp and cool being dabbed against his forehead. Blinking a few times, he opened his eyes to see a woman hovering over him with a concerned expression on her face. He was able to see that half of her face had horrible burn scars, but even so, she was still lovely and held a kind look. On top of her head were two wolf ears, and in an instant, (y/n) recognized that look and softly whispered, “M-mom?”

Her face lit up when he called out to her.

“Oh (y/n)!” she exclaimed, leaning over and hugging him gently, “I’m so happy to see you!”

(y/n) wondered if this was just another one of his dreams, but the warmth from her arms was all too real to be a dream. He knew all at once that his mother was truly embracing him at this very moment.

“Mom!? But how!? I mean- The hideout completely collapsed!”

She pulled away and began to explain, “Your father and I were able to make it out through another way. Of course, it’s wasn’t without cost,” she lightly traced the scars on her face, “We tried to rejoin you, but we couldn’t find the group in which you left with. We searched and searched, and when we finally found the place where you resided, you were gone after your mentor tried to kill you. Bit we didn’t give up hope and knew we’d find you eventually. And now, I can see all that hope wasn’t for naught! You’re here, back with me and your father!”

“D-dad too? Where is he now?”

“Oh, he’s, shall we say, ‘taking care of’ that human we took from that alleyway.”

(y/n) really didn’t like the sound of that, even if it was his mother saying it.

“What do you mean by that?”

“She’s one of the humans responsible for the failure of our last mission. We were to use a train to lead Grimm into the city of Vale, but a group of students managed to foil out plans. We lost many brothers and sisters in that underground city, so we’re gonna take revenge on every single one of them who took part by making them feel the same pain we felt before we finish them off!”

(y/n)’s blood ran cold, he knew that Yang’s life was in danger at this very moment. However, he kept a cool head, as he figured out that his mom didn’t seem to know his relation with Yang, or maybe even that he was a student at Beacon.

“C-can we go and see?”

“Oh? Are you sure you’re up for it? I’m sorry for how your father knocked you out like that, we just weren’t sure how you’d react to seeing us and wanted to take precautions by bringing you to this base.”

“Don’t worry. I’m fine, really.”

“Well, all right then, just don’t push yourself.”

They leave the little room and walk through that (y/n) recognized as the same halls he used to walk six years ago. Nothing has really changed besides the numbers of White Fang members, they’d increased immensely. They soon came to a door and walked in. As they entered, (y/n) heard a cry of pain that almost made his heart stop, for he knew it was Yang. There wasn’t much to the room, just a large table with menacing looking tools resting upon it and a single chair, where Yang was seated and chained to. Upon hearing the door open she lifted her head up, and (y/n) was able to see the dark, purple bruises and few gashes on her face, most likely from harsh punches. Anger rose in (y/n), how dare they do this to her!? The surrounding White Fang members turned their heads, one of them removed his mask and (y/n) found himself staring at an older version of himself with burn scars on his face that almost matched the ones his mother had.

“D-dad?”

“(y/n)! Is that really you!? Oh my boy,” his father hugged him a bit tightly, not being able to contain his feelings, “It’s so good to see you well and alive.”

Despite finally being reunited, (y/n) didn’t hug back. The fact that his own father aided with hurting Yang like this made him so sick to his stomach. While hugging, (y/n) looked at Yang, who was giving him a confused expression. Very slowly to not be noticed by the other members, (y/n) gave her a wink, showing that he had a plan. She got the message and gave him a tiny nod back. Luckily for him, it didn’t seem that his parents had associated him with Yang nor know about his enrollment into Beacon, so a plan quickly formed in his head. Releasing the hug, his father then said, “My son, they’ve told us what had happened when you left. I’m so very sorry that you had to go through that, but we’re more then willing to welcome you back to the White Fang if you can find it in your heart to forgive us.”

(y/n) was more then aware that even with putting it that way, it was either he goes back to them, or they kill him, that’s the way it’s always been.

“Of course father. And if I may, to avenge our brothers and sisters, I would like to give the killing blow,” he said with an evil smirk.

His father patted him on the back, “That’s what I wanted to hear. Here then,” he walked over to the table and presented (y/n) with Yang’s weapon, “End her life with the very weapon that was used to end their lives.”

(y/n) slipped on the gauntlets, “I’ll make sure she suffers,” he said darkly, activating them. Standing in front of Yang, he gave her one more reassuring wink before firing off several shots from her weapon. None of them hit her, instead, they were targeted at the chains around her, they fell to the floor with a “clank.”

“What do you think you’re doing (y/n)!? You’re supposed to finish her!” his father asked perplexed.

(y/n) positioned himself protectively in front of Yang, “While I’m ecstatic that you and mom are alive, I can’t have you kill one of my friends!”

The other few members that were there tried to subdue him, but he easily knocked them out.

“Stop this at once (y/n)!” his mother ordered, “Can’t you see that she’s our enemy!?”

“No, YOU’RE my enemy as of now! I know that you hate the humans for what they’re done to our kind, but from what I’ve seen is that there are still plenty of humans that’ll stick up for us Faunuses,” he glanced back at Yang, “Just
like how she’s been doing for me.”

Yang gave him a weak smile and a thumbs up.

Turning his attention back to his parents, (y/n) said, “So, what’s it gonna be? I know very well that it’s either come back, or die. I may have left this organization, but I haven’t forgotten its’ rules!”

His parents looked like they were battling a dilemma as they thought hard. Finally, they nodded to each other and stepped aside, leaving the exit wide open for (y/n).

“You have one minute, then we shall alert everyone else here and come after you,” his father explained.

(y/n)’s face held surprised, then sported a smirk, “That’s all I’ll need to escape from here,” he picked Yang up bridal style, causing for a blush to spread on her face. He began to walk past his parents, once he was out the door, he looked back at them, “Thanks . . . . mom . . . . dad,” with those parting words, (y/n) ran through the halls, old memories guiding him through them towards an exit he knew well of. His mother and father watched as they did the one thing that would be the hardest thing for a parent to do: let their child go.

~0~

“Owowowowowowowowowow!!!!!”

“Would you stop being such a baby and let the nurse treat you?” Weiss said, shaking her head from Yang’s childishness.

“Look who’s talking, you’re not the one who’s inju- OUCH!!!”

“Oh calm down young lady, it’s not that bad!”

After about literally half an hour, all of Yang’s injuries have been treated, and everyone else who tried to help her were currently pressing ice packs against their arms, faces, or head, a result from Yang’s thrashings.

“I’m never treating this girl ever again,” the nurse proclaimed, rubbing her
aching head with her ice pack. Just then, the door was heard being opened,
and there was (y/n).

“(y/n)? What are you doing here?” Ruby asked.

“H-hey, can I have some time alone with Yang?”

“Oh? Why?”

“Uh, well . . . .”

“Oooooohh, I see what’s going on,” Weiss suddenly said, standing up form her chair, “Come on girls, let’s give these two animals some room.”

“Eh? But Weiss!” Despite her protests, Ruby was dragged out of the room by Weiss while Blake walked behind, nursing a forming black eye with her ice pack. (y/n) slowly walked over to Yang’s bedside.

“Hey.”

“Hey!”

“How are ya feeling?”

“Meh, I’ve had worse, I’m just not used to being treated like this. My semblance usually helps with situations like that, but they kept at it for a whole hour, not to mention I was confined to that chair, so there was no point to it.”

“For a whole hour?”

“Yeah.”

“Geez you’re something else, you know that?”

“I’m taking that as a compliment.”

“Heh heh. Anyway, Yang, why didn’t you tell the officers of the hideout location? Those who did this to you must pay for it.”

“I couldn’t rat out your parents like that. After all, you just found them.”
“Huh? Don’t tell me that you not telling then was all just for my sake.”

“I guess you can put it that way.”

“B-but just why!? Even I was ready to tell before you told me not to. If I was more then willing to put them behind bars, then why weren’t you ?”

“Cause, I can see that they still love you. They let us go, didn’t they? I was just returning the favor. And who knows, maybe someday they’ll see that not all humans are as bad as they think, and when that happens, you can have your family again,” she ended her explanation with a smile with (y/n) staring at her awe-struck. He raked his fingers through his hair.

“Wow, just wow Yang. You are one heck of a woman.”

“Why thank you. . . . . . That was a compliment this time, right?”

(y/n) smiled gently at her, “Yeah, it was.”

“Awwwww. For that, I’m sure you’re wondering what happened at that club when you passed out, aren’t you?”

“I didn’t cross my mind, but now that you brought it up, yeah.”

“Weeeeeell, you kinda got hammered, practically crushed me with your body, called me hot, and then . . . . kissed me.”

(y/n) went red all the way up to his ears.

“Wh-wh-wh-what!? I did!?”

“Yup, and I have an entire dance club as witnesses.”

“Oh dear God, I’m so sorry about that Yang!”

“Nah, there’s nothing to be sorry, in fact, I kinda . . . .” she shyly looked to the side away from (y/n), “ . . . liked it.”

“Huh? Really?”

“In fact, I wouldn’t mind if you . . . did it again . . . and again . . . . and many times after that.”

“Yang. . . . Did you just confess to me?”

“So what if I did?”

Since her head was turned, Yang couldn’t see the smirk on (y/n)’s face, “Well, in that case, I’ll just have to do this.”

He gently took her chin, turned it to face him, and kissed her lips sweetly. This was nothing like that kiss have gave her at the bar, this kiss was filled with love and passion. Yang wanted to latch onto him, but her injured arms kept her from doing so, so she just went with leaning into the kiss as much as she could. After they pulled away, (y/n) rested his forehead against hers.

“I love you Yang.”

“Love ya too hot stuff.”

~0~

“Hot hot hot hot hot hot!!! Too hot!”

“Well that’s what you get when you try to stuff porridge into your mouth right off the bat, let it cool will you?”

Yang scooped some of her breakfast into her spoon and wait about half a minute before trying it again. She stuck out her tongue after she swallowed.

“Damnit, now it’s too cold!”

(y/n) rolled his eyes, grabbed the spoon, and after blowing on it a few times, slipped it into his mouth.

“Hey (y/n)! That was my break-” she was cut off when (y/n) crashed his lips against hers, he opened her mouth with his own and slipped the porridge into her mouth. A string of saliva broke as they parted.

“That any better?” he asked with a smirk.

After getting over her shock, Yang answered with a sexy smirk of her own, “Oh, that was just right~”

Amazing, I wish it was more relationship building and less of a oneshot and more of a whole story with more romance. But it was extremely good for a oneshot.
